Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurses to provide specialized patient care at Cleveland Clinic – Hillcrest Hospital. The role involves night shifts, requiring recent clinical expertise in Level III Neonatal ICU settings and adherence to strict credentialing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive neonatal nursing care to critically ill infants in a Level III NICU environment.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, respond to emergency situations, and administer medications safely.
• Complete orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing, with acceptable scores.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policy requirements, including background checks and drug screens.
• Document patient progress, facilitate family education, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including nicotine-free protocols unless exempt, and ensure all licensing and immunization records are current.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license valid for hospital start date.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent Level III NICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety during orientation.
• Maintain active certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Provide a recent manager, supervisor, or director reference in the NICU specialty.
• Be willing to complete mandatory modules and pass necessary assessments for credentialing.
