Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. The registered nurse will perform assessments, stabilize patients, and coordinate care while communicating effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients upon arrival.
• Stabilize and provide immediate care to critically ill or injured patients.
• Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid New York State RN license.
• Demonstrate BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine.
• Show proficiency in growth and development care across the lifespan.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Physically capable of performing CPR and handling the demands of ER shifts.
