Job Summary:
The Human Resources Representative specializes in credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and hospital bylaws. They manage initial appointments, reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging for diverse medical staff and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate provider credentialing activities including initial appointments and reappointments
• Conduct credential audits and background checks using credentialing software to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage clinical privileging processes in accordance with hospital bylaws and regulatory requirements
• Interpret and apply regulations from accrediting and licensing agencies to maintain compliance
• Maintain current knowledge of statutes and laws related to healthcare credentialing and privileging

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong understanding of healthcare credentialing and privileging processes
• Proficient in using credentialing software such as MDStaff or equivalent tools
• Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies
• Possess excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Hold a minimum of a relevant credential or certification in healthcare administration or human resources
