Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and functional abilities. They develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress, ensuring optimal therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans aligned with clinical goals.
• Document clinical observations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and adjust therapy as needed.
• Supervise and mentor Speech Therapy Assistants when required.
• Notify clinical team managers of patient progress and OASIS scores within established timelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification.
• Possess at least one year of experience as a Speech Therapist in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and documentation standards.
