Job Summary:

Responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in diagnosing patients' medical conditions. Ensures high-quality imaging output while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
• Maintain equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Adhere to all state and federal licensing and certification requirements.
• Document patient information, imaging details, and procedural notes accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver precise imaging results.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY state Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum of one year of MRI imaging experience.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MR.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
