Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) position at a Level I Trauma Center. The role requires critical care expertise with a strong focus on pediatric patient management in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in the CVPICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure clinical documentation compliance and accurate record-keeping.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility for unit and campus floating within a 20-mile radius as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience required.
• Active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Pediatric critical care certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system preferred.
• BSN degree preferred; ADN acceptable for most positions.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
