Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to patients in the HVTI-Stepdown unit, ensuring optimal recovery and safety. Adapt to various hospital units as needed, delivering quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vitals and recognize abnormal rhythms and symptoms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Ohio license or Compact State License in Hand.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent permanent experience in a stepdown or similar specialty.
• Have active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with no pending requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate through orientation assessments.
• Complete mandatory background checks, drug screens, and onboarding modules promptly.
