Job Summary:

Provide inpatient/acute care physical therapy services to adult patients in a hospital setting. Support rehabilitation goals under the supervision of licensed therapists, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with facility standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for adult patients.
• Perform patient assessments and document progress according to clinical protocols.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, stretches, and mobility activities to promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and facility dress code requirements.
• Participate in orientation modules and ongoing training to stay compliant with facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid PTA license in the state of employment.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with at least 1 year of hospital-based experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in acute care, med-surg, trauma, and critical care settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and follow protocol.
• Must provide current references and certifications upon submission.
