Job Details

Job Summary:
Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Operate imaging equipment accurately while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, addressing any concerns or adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting performing CT scans.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including 12-hour shifts.
