Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit at a major healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients in the PCU/IMC setting with opportunities to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown and progressive care units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and administer medications following protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Comply with hospital policies and maintain required certifications and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a stepdown or IMC setting prior to travel.
• Hold an active Ohio license or a valid compact license.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Have recent travel experience in a similar specialty considered acceptable.
• Show validated references from supervisory personnel in the applicable specialty.
