Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive medical assisting services to support clinical staff and enhance patient care. Ensures smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and adherence to certification and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical tasks including patient intake, vital signs, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the electronic health record.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with certification, licensure, and facility policies for all clinical staff.
• Complete required modules and continuing education as part of orientation and ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED; completion of a recognized Medical Assistant training program or equivalent.
• Possess current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Certified as a Medical Assistant through AAMA, CMAC, CCBMA, AMT, NCCT, or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of recent relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems.
• Be available within 3-5 days for lab work and maintain valid state license at all times.
