Job Summary:

Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Burn ICU unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures, including ventilator management and specialty beds.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in Meditech system.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee or applicable state requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU, PCU, or step-down experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, CRRT, and acute patient care.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per rotation.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
