Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients in a high-acuity environment. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records.
• Educate families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain clinical competency through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, with a focus on pediatric cardiac care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records systems.
• Be able to work 13-week travel assignments, including day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Have Epic EMR experience and meet dress code standards, including navy blue scrubs.
• Be willing to work in a metropolitan hospital environment and adhere to local policies.
