Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated GI Lab Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy and gastroenterology setting. The nurse will support patient procedures, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and float within hospital units as needed to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care before, during, and after GI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols, including obtaining required certifications and lab testing.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient treatment plans and document clinical activities accurately.
• Float within hospital units to support staffing needs and maintain smooth clinical operations.
• Ensure all compliance requirements such as vaccinations, background checks, and licensure are met prior to start.
• Facilitate patient education regarding procedures and post-procedure care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid PA or Compact Nursing License at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within a GI or endoscopy setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment and clinical documentation.
• Be able to complete required background, drug screenings, and vaccination protocols promptly.
• Maintain flexibility to float within hospital units and travel to sister facilities.
