Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensures patient safety, monitors vitals, and collaborates with surgical teams to deliver high-quality care throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient vitals before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care, procedures, and observations accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure smooth surgical operations.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and assist with patient stabilization as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate experience with Epic charting software.
• Have prior experience in Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Vascular, or Urology surgeries.
• Prefer candidates with experience in Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, or eye surgeries.
