Job Summary:
Seeking a Radiology Tech specialized in CT scans to join a teaching hospital environment. The technician will perform CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation badge management, to protect staff and patients.
• Float within scope to different facilities as needed to meet departmental demands.
• Document procedures accurately in electronic health records using Epic system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and imaging quality.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for calibration.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications.
• Possess at least 1 year of general CT experience, with preferred Siemens PIV experience and Level 1 Trauma exposure.
• Be BLS certified.
• Have a current South Carolina or eligible for in-hand license at start.
• Provide a radiation badge supplied by agency.
• Minimum of 6 months level 1 trauma experience preferred.
