Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy support to patients under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to assist in their rehabilitation and functional recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic activities to promote patients' independence and functional abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, ensuring proper equipment use.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety guidelines to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Proven experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient documentation protocols.
• Flexibility to work a 32-hour guarantee shift.
