Job Summary:

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for night shifts in a 12-bed ICU and 31-bed Med-Surg unit. The role involves floating between units based on census needs, ensuring high-quality patient care for adult patients with complex diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult ICU patients, including vent weaning, wound care, and spinal cord injury management.
• Administer medications using Omnicell systems and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately within the EPIC EMR system.
• Float between units as needed, performing tasks within documented competencies.
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and testing within designated timelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency.
• Active SC state RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Valid Omnicell medication system certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in ventilator management, wound care, and tracheostomy management.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts, including weekends, with floating flexibility.
• Travel distance greater than 100 miles from Prisma facilities required for travelers.
