Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in CVOR procedures to support a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program. The RN will provide perioperative care and assist in complex cardiac, vascular, and transplant surgeries using state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in the CVOR during complex cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
• Assist with scrubbing in on surgical cases, particularly in transplants, valve replacements, and endovascular procedures.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical flow and patient care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation within electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
• Adhere to scheduled on-call rotations and holiday work requirements, providing flexible coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2.5 years of perioperative nursing experience, with specific CVOR and transplant exposure highly preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and documentation.
• Possess certifications in BLS and relevant surgical areas.
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, and vascular surgeries.
