Job Summary:
The CT Scan Tech is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective collaboration with medical staff to ensure quality imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician requests.
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures, including supplying and wearing radiation badges.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records using the Epic system.
• Float within scope to other facilities as needed to meet operational requirements.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including shift schedules, on-call rotations, and RTO guidelines.
• Ensure timely communication with team members and support patient comfort during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification and SCRQSA (R) (CT).
• Possess at least 6 months of experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment preferred and Siemens imaging experience.
• Provide a radiation badge supplied by the agency prior to start.
• Have current BLS certification.
• Be able to work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Must have in-hand South Carolina license or proven license application process.
