Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services in ICU units across multiple campuses, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with hospital standards. Must be adaptable to float between facilities and handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical conditions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, perform medication scanning, and document care according to protocols.
• Respond promptly to ICU emergencies, including patient deterioration and on-call situations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, including float requirements and travel regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, obtain supervisory references, and review work history thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license with a minimum of 2 years recent/consecutive ICU experience in hospital/acute care.
• Demonstrate experience with medication scanning and familiarity with Epic electronic health records.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be willing to float to multiple campuses and travel between locations as required.
• Have strong communication and documentation skills, with ability to work night shifts (2x12 hours).
• Be capable of returning to the hospital within 1 hour when on call.
