Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care unit, overseeing patients with complex needs. Ensure clinical excellence while maintaining patient safety and comfort during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including trach care, chest tubes, and cardiac drips.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing high-level clinical interventions.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing ventilated patients and trachs.
• Prefer candidates experienced with Cerner EMR and wound care procedures.
• Possess valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Show flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts.
• Exhibit strong clinical competence and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
