Job Summary:

Provide professional nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ensuring accurate assessment and prompt intervention. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately to detect changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses thoroughly and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and prioritize patient safety at all times.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in telemetry or a related cardiovascular telemetry setting.
• Strong proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
