Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to join a reputable healthcare facility in Asheville. The role involves performing advanced MRI procedures to support patient diagnosis and care while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Adhere to protocols for contrast and non-contrast MRI scans, including breast MRI.
• Maintain accurate documentation and proper use of the EMR system.
• Follow unit guidelines and policies, including safety and dress code requirements.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate imaging services and troubleshoot technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Hold current registration as an MRI Technologist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant MRI experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures.
• Preferred: experience with breast MRI and GE MRI systems.
• Maintain active certifications and licenses required for MRI technologists.
