Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse on Telemetry provides specialized nursing care to cardiac patients, ensuring optimal recovery and stabilization. They assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient vital signs and clinical data to monitor cardiac status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac assessment, telemetry monitoring, and emergency response.
• Maintain current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
