Job Description

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques across multiple locations, primarily focusing on cardiac applications. This role requires flexibility to rotate through different sites and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure quality imaging by adhering to departmental procedures and protocols.
  • Rotate through multiple SPECT and Cardiac PET locations, assisting with coverage during weekends and holidays.
  • Complete documentation and reporting accurately within the electronic health record system.
  • Maintain compliance with state and facility-specific licensing, certifications, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Hold ARRT R or ARRT N certification; BLS certification required.
  • Possess at least 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience; first-timers accepted.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Epic and other diagnostic imaging unit systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, including weekends and major holidays.
  • Maintain full compliance with licensing, certifications, and safety regulations.
  • Be able to complete clinical screening and submit references upon request.
