Job Summary:

Provides specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in high-acuity environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for ICU patients.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and operate life-support equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and clinical observations accurately.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and industry standards for critical care nursing.

Qualifications:

• Current active nursing license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every third weekend and alternate holidays.
• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
