Job Summary:

The Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech is responsible for performing overnight sleep studies and analyzing physiological data to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders. They ensure patient safety and comfort while accurately recording and monitoring sleep patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment for each patient.
• Monitor patients throughout overnight sleep studies, ensuring quality data collection.
• Score and analyze sleep data following established protocols.
• Document patient interactions, test results, and observations accurately.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of sleep study procedures and polysomnography equipment.
• Certification as a Sleep Technologist (RPSGT or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience conducting sleep studies in a clinical setting.
• Ability to interpret sleep data and prepare detailed reports.
• Effective communication skills and patient-centered approach.
