Job Summary:
The Medical Imager/X-ray/CT technologist is responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, producing diagnostic images for medical diagnosis, and explaining radiologic procedures in an age-appropriate manner. They assess patient comfort, ensure safety, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and screen patients for imaging procedures to ensure proper positioning and safety.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images of the human body for medical analysis.
• Explain radiologic procedures clearly, considering patient age and understanding.
• Assess patient pain levels during procedures and contact physicians for interventions as needed.
• Perform all patient care activities while maintaining safety protocols to minimize errors.
• Follow compliance standards regarding continuing education and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• Possess New Hampshire license in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Science preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate ongoing compliance with continuing education credits.
