Job Summary:

The CVOR positions are specialized perioperative roles requiring experienced RNs to support cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures. Candidates will provide patient care during complex surgeries, ensuring optimal outcomes in a high-demand environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient care in the CVOR setting.
• Assist and collaborate with surgical teams during cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and intraoperative status to ensure safety.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately, complying with facility and regulatory standards.
• Respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies and unexpected patient needs.
• Maintain equipment, surgical supplies, and ensure environmental safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Georgia or a Compact State.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, including CVOR preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and intraoperative patient management.
• Be available for night shifts (3x12-hour nights) with flexibility for call and rotating weekends.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Successfully pass clinical evaluation and comply with all travel and compliance requirements.
