School Sign Language Interpreter
TACT STAFF is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the educational setting. The interpreter will facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff using American Sign Language (ASL) and ensure equal access to classroom instruction and school activities.
*In person positions only, no virtual*
Responsibilities:
• Interpret spoken communication into ASL and vice versa during classes, meetings, and school events
• Support student understanding of lessons, instructions, and discussions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
Requirements:
•Georgia state licensure
