Psychologist
Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team! As a Psychologist, you will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals of all ages. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapy, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, cognitive functioning, and emotional well-being
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to establish goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to clients using various modalities
- Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Monitor clients' progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary
- Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and maintain client records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in case conferences and treatment meetings
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines governing psychology practice
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited program
- Active licensure as a Psychologist in the state you are applying to
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches and interventions
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and administering standardized tests
- Familiarity with diagnostic criteria and treatment modalities for various mental health disorders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Cultural competency and sensitivity in working with diverse populations
