Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures utilizing MRI technology, providing high-quality diagnostic images under limited supervision. This role requires technical expertise, independent judgment, and a focus on MRI safety to support patient care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Execute MRI procedures accurately according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, performing quality control checks regularly.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedure details thoroughly and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with radiology team to optimize imaging quality and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a formal AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years' MRI experience in a hospital environment.
• ARRT Certification and MRI Registry required.
• CPR certification required.
• Venipuncture certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to work independently.
