Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides supportive therapeutic care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. They assist in implementing treatment plans and helping patients regain mobility and functional ability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in administering prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy exercises and injury prevention.
• Support the organization and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure patient comfort during sessions.

Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience working in acute or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Strong understanding of therapy techniques for brain injury and stroke recovery.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
