Job Summary:
The registered nurse provides comprehensive perioperative care in surgical services, functioning seamlessly across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthesia recovery areas. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and support throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their condition and preparedness for surgery.
• Circulate cases by coordinating surgical procedures and supporting the surgical team during operations.
• Recover patients post-anesthesia, monitoring vitals and managing pain and discomfort.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Assist with sterilization and equipment processing to maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-surgical procedures and care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license in Colorado.
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in pre-op, OR, or PACU settings.
• Certified in ACLS; CNOR certification and scrub experience preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under stress and in dynamic environments.
• Capable of physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
