Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to patients in an acute hospital setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions. This role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing functions through clinical assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
• Perform procedures such as FEES and MBSS to diagnose swallowing disorders.
• Document patient progress and updating treatment plans within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current licensed SLP, CCC certification.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Possess credentialing in FEES and MBSS procedures preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in acute and inpatient rehab settings.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be available to start as soon as possible and commit to a 13-week assignment.
