Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Deliver quality patient monitoring, administration of treatments, and ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and therapies while monitoring patient vitals and responding to ECG changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Perform accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Operate and troubleshoot telemetry monitors, ensuring timely communication of abnormal findings.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers per unit protocols.
• Educate patients and families about their condition and care processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of travel nursing experience with a proven track record.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong proficiency with EPIC and Point of Care Testing (POCT), including blood glucose monitoring.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and telemetry strips confidently.
