Job Details

Job Summary:
A surgical technologist specializing in operating room support for complex procedures, including trauma, orthopedics, neuro, vascular, and robotics. Responsible for ensuring a sterile environment and assisting surgical teams during operative cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and surgical supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist surgeons during trauma, ortho trauma, vascular, neuro, or robotic surgeries.
• Manage and ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment, including robotic systems like Xi, SP, Mako, and DV5.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate efficient and safe operative procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards throughout each shift.
• Document procedures and assist with post-operative sterilization and room turnover.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of scrub or circulating experience in a surgical setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
• Proficient in handling advanced surgical equipment, including robotics and neuro or ortho trauma tools.
• Demonstrate flexibility, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.
