Job Summary:
Registered Nurse - CCU provides specialized patient care within the critical care unit, utilizing the nursing process to deliver effective and individualized treatments. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care based on scientific nursing principles tailored to complex clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Interact effectively with patients and visitors, maintaining professional standards and compassionate communication.
• Perform and document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately using designated charting systems.
• Ensure compliance with all travel, licensing, and certification requirements, including drug screening protocols.
• Complete required lab work within 72 hours of acceptance and participate in orientation modules as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in critical care or ICU.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
• Must live 150 miles or more from the facility; previous staff must be absent for at least one year to return as a traveler.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven compliance with travel and drug screening protocols.
