Job Summary:
The Infusion RN will provide specialized nursing care in an oncology infusion setting, managing a high patient caseload with a focus on external beam therapy, IMRT, and prophylactic treatments. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient treatments and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, radiation, and other infusion therapies in accordance with physician protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during treatment, responding to adverse reactions promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses within the Cerner system.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed, including CBCT/kV/mV imaging procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and compliance.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety standards, and facility policies, including flu vaccination requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WV or Compact RN license; pending license accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in oncology or infusion centers.
• Must have BLS certification; ONC certification preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiation safety, external beam therapy, and related imaging technologies.
• Reside more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates within 75–99 miles may be considered case-by-case.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to handle high caseloads efficiently.
