Job Summary:
Seeking an ER RN with a valid NY license to provide high-quality emergency care in a busy 11-bed medical ED with a dedicated CPEP unit. The RN will cover night and mid shifts, ensuring efficient patient triage, assessment, and treatment while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC electronic charting system.
• Manage patient flow within the evaluation and extended observation spaces, providing timely and appropriate care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including PCTs and CPEP BH staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform triage and initiate patient stabilization procedures following ED protocols.
• Complete all required certifications and modules before start date, tracking billable hours accordingly.
• Adhere to staffing policies, focusing on patient safety, documentation accuracy, and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York RN license in hand.
• Possess at least 1 year of emergency nursing experience.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Demonstrate EPIC charting proficiency.
• Willing to work 12-hour night or mid shifts, including rotating weekends.
• Capable of floating within the ED as needed and working in a fast-paced environment.
