Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based practices to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and psychosocial support.
• Delegates nursing tasks to ancillary personnel and precepts students and new hires.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, infection control policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to ethical standards and organizational values.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
• Requires current BLS certification, with ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP certifications obtained within specified timeframes.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrates at least 2 years of hospital nursing experience, with 1 year in emergency or critical care preferred.
• Successful completion of background screening and pre-employment drug tests required.
