Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. They assist in implementing treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and support rehabilitation efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments, reporting progress and concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention techniques.

Qualifications:

• State or federal issued identification required for facility access.
• Certified or licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans accurately.
• Availability for a 14-week contract with the ability to support patient care needs.
