Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and assisting physicians with invasive CT procedures. They ensure high-quality imaging, maintain safety protocols, and support patient care through accurate processing and documentation of examinations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all CT and related imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare and position patients safely for imaging examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians with invasive CT procedures, including administering contrast media under physician protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and manage supplies related to imaging.
• Analyze and review CT images for quality assurance before interpretation by radiologists.
• Document procedures accurately and communicate effectively during handoffs to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-accredited program.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintain state licensure requirements and current CPR certification.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting (preferred).
• Possess knowledge of radiation safety, patient transport, and imaging protocols.
