Job Summary:
The Clinical Dietitian – Inpatient Services provides specialized medical nutrition therapy to hospitalized patients across various acute care service lines. This role involves developing and implementing evidence-based nutrition care plans to support patient recovery and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' nutritional status and identify nutrition problems using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based guidelines.
• Document clinical interventions accurately, reflecting the patient's nutritional status and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, case management, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Focus on nutrition support for complex, medically fragile patients, including malnutrition identification and timely intervention for at-risk patients.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, charting, and documentation standards, including Meditech system updates.

Qualifications:

• Hold an IN or Compact license as a registered dietitian.
• Have 2+ years of experience in a specialty inpatient or acute care environment.
• Demonstrate previous travel experience and flexibility with schedules.
• Possess the ability to complete required lab work within 24 hours of signing the WOC traveler agreement.
• Have strong clinical documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills.
• Be willing to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
