Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, ensuring quality treatment and patient safety throughout their recovery process. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, documenting changes and response to therapy.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, recovery expectations, and health management.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Comply with regulatory and organizational policies, including travel and licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech or relevant electronic health record systems.

Qualifications:

• Have 2+ years of specialized inpatient rehab nursing experience.
• Possess an IN or Compact nursing license.
• Demonstrate recent clinical reference from a supervisor within the last 12 months.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required, with flexibility for travel pairs.
• Ability to complete lab work for compliance within 24 hours of signing the WOC.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation protocols.
