Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, acute care environment. Ensures timely assessment, intervention, and coordination of care to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, identify dysrhythmias, and administer appropriate treatments.
• Prioritize patient care based on triage categories, ensuring rapid response to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to modify care plans as required.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and maintain complete medical records.
• Assist physicians with procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with one year of critical care or emergency room experience preferred.
• Valid California RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills in English and proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care following developmental and clinical guidelines.
