Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Level III Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will handle high patient ratios efficiently and demonstrate proficiency in trauma and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care procedures in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to critical changes or emergencies.
• Administer medications accurately, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with medical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete competency exams, medication tests, and dysrhythmia recognition assessments as required.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Registered Nurse license with current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and COVID certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience, with high patient throughput handling skills.
• Ability to pass competency exams, medication tests, and dysrhythmia recognition assessments with an 80% score.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must adhere to dress code and orientation requirements.
