Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cardiac First Assistant Tech to support the surgical team in a busy OR environment. The role involves assisting with a variety of surgeries and ensuring compliance with unit policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiac, general, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, ortho, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and surgical instruments.
• Follow patient-specific and unit guidelines to uphold safety and efficiency.
• Support documentation and recording of surgical procedures accurately.
• Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CSFA or CFA certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of First Assist experience in a surgical setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in assisting with diverse surgical procedures listed.
• Display strong teamwork skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Be able to work 10- or 12-hour shifts, with availability for on-call shifts monthly.
