Job Summary:
The RN ICU position involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting. This role requires flexibility for weekend shifts and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a per diem basis for an initial 26-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and stabilize patients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in an ICU or critical care environment.
• Strong knowledge of ICU protocols, Meditech EMR, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible scheduling requirements.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
